Open source AI agent - runs on your own machine

Post on LinkedIn every week, in your own words.

An AI agent that reads what is new in your field each week, writes three posts in your style, and checks them so nothing fake or generic slips through. You read them on Sunday, edit for five minutes, and post.

The problem

Why most people stop posting

Almost everyone who tries to post regularly hits one of these three walls. Then the posts stop, and the audience forgets you.

No time

A good post takes thirty to ninety minutes to write. After a busy week you skip it, then you skip the next one.

Generic AI posts

Most AI tools write posts that sound like everyone else. People notice, and it makes you look worse, not better.

Ghostwriters drift

Hiring someone works, but it costs money, takes back and forth, and slowly stops sounding like you.

How it works

How it writes a post

Writing the words is the easy part. The hard part is catching the bad ones before they go out. So every draft runs through three checks, and anything that fails is held back instead of posted.

Step 1

Find

Reads what is new in your field this week.

01
Step 2

Plan

Picks one angle for each of the three posts.

02
Step 3

Write

Writes the three drafts, one for each day.

03
Step 4

Review

Reads each draft the way your audience would.

04

Three checks before a draft is kept

keep - or - hold back

Fact check

automatic

Every number or claim has to trace to a real source it found. No made-up stats.

Style check

automatic

Catches generic phrasing and anything that drifts from how you write.

Quality score

AI

Scores each draft against your best past posts. Low scores are held back.

If a draft fails a check, it is saved with the reason instead of posted, so you can see what went wrong. You still read each draft before it goes out, the same as you would any post.

What you get

Show up every week, in your own style, for a couple of dollars a month.

The idea is simple. Anyone with a job can put out three posts a week that sound like them, and see exactly how each one was written.

3 posts

Every week

Three posts a week for twelve weeks is enough to get known in a small niche. Most people never keep it going that long.

Week 12

Still sounds like you

The style checks stop it drifting into generic AI writing. Week twelve still sounds like week one.

~$2 / mo

Almost free

Under fifty cents per run. It runs on free tiers and a scheduled job. No server, no subscription, no per-seat fee.

Building with AI yourself? This is a small, complete example you can read in an afternoon and run in half an hour. Not a demo, not a tutorial. A real tool that puts out posts every week, with all the code in the open.

Make it yours

It is all one file.

Everything you change lives in one place. Copy the starter, edit these four things, and run it. No code.

examples/my-voice/brand.yaml - plus a folder for your best posts

1

What it writes about

The searches it runs each week. Change these and it covers your topics, not someone else's.

brand.yaml
sources:
  web_search:
    queries:
      - "indie SaaS launches this week"
      - "pricing experiments, bootstrapped"
      - "solo founder revenue milestones"
2

How you write

Words you never use, and how long your posts run. It is blocked from breaking these.

brand.yaml
voice:
  must_not_have:
    banned_phrases: ["leverage", "deep dive"]
  rhythm:
    target_words: [120, 340] # short to long
3

What to post each day

Three posts a week, each with its own shape. A shipping story, a how-to, or a hot take.

brand.yaml
cadence:
mon: { pillar: shipped } # a thing you shipped
  wed: { pillar: framework } # a how-to or list
fri: { pillar: critique } # a take on the news
4

Your best posts

Drop a few posts you are proud of into this folder. New drafts get scored against them.

  my-best-post.md
  another-good-one.md

Try it

Run it yourself in about thirty minutes.

It runs on your own computer with your own key. Nothing to sign up for, and none of your data leaves your control.

  1. 01

    Fork and install

Fork the repo, then install. Node 20 and pnpm.

  2. 02

    Add your keys

One Anthropic key is required. Langfuse and Supabase are optional and free.

  3. 03

    Make it sound like you

Copy the starter profile and edit one file: what you do, words you never use, what to post each day.

  4. 04

    Run it

About ninety seconds. Three drafts show up in the drafts folder, each with a link to how it was written.

terminal
# Fork and install
gh repo fork Imasaikiran/linkedin-engine --clone
cd linkedin-engine
pnpm install

# Add your keys
cp .env.example .env
# ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=sk-ant-...

# Make it sound like you
cp -r examples/_template examples/my-voice
# edit examples/my-voice/brand.yaml

# Run it
pnpm pipeline --profile examples/my-voice

You bring one Anthropic key. It never logs into LinkedIn and never touches your account. It writes the drafts. You post them.
